Canadian Prime Minister Jasrin Trudeau has ordered the country's parliament to grant permission for Sri Lankans to enter Canada without a visa.
It is reported that a work permit is to be issued without a visa.
According to the newly announced immigration plan, visas can be obtained in Canada based on work and immigration plans.
Prime Minister Trudeau said Sri Lanka's role in all sectors of Canada's economy is impressive.
He pointed out that the role of the Sri Lankan brothers and sisters in the development of Canada cannot be defiled.
He made these comments after last Sunday's bombing in Sri Lanka.
He condemned the brutal attacks on Sri Lanka's churches and hotels and issued deep condolences to the families of the victims.
He said all Sri Lankans who had been illegally residing in Canada had been granted citizenship for the last three years.
He stated that he can apply for a career opportunity in Canada and travel in business and tourism for up to 90 days without a visa.
It is reported that the jobs listed on the project will be posted on the Internet next week and there are about six million job openings.
