Severe traffic around Colombo

Heavy traffic has been reported from several areas in Colombo due to rehearsals for the 70th Independence Day anniversary celebrations being conducted at Galle Face.

Traffic is reported to be extremely severe around Kollupitiya Junction as vehicular movement towards Galle Face via Galle Road has been restricted.
